I went down to Camden Market for the second instalment of the Line Friends x BT21 Pop-Up Store. This time, there was a much wider variety in items from the Line Friends x BT21 collection, including exclusive clothing pieces, made specifically for this Camden event.

Once again, entry to the event was completely FREE and the pop-up was open every weekend between November 16th – December 1st. The racks were filled with masses of limited-edition clothing pieces, with new items each week.

The event was held at the same venue as the first pop-up – The Provender Building, Stables Yard. The store’s opening hours were 10 AM – 4 PM, supposedly, but the closing times were a bit confusing. I went alone on the first weekend, just after finishing work at 5 PM, and I believe the store closed at 7 PM on that weekend. My sister and I visited the pop-up store together, the following weekend, and as we were leaving the store, we saw the staff turning people away at around 5 PM. That must’ve been really frustrating, considering the closing time was different the previous weekend. My sister and I got there for about 4:15 so we were really lucky to have gotten there before they closed. I’m not quite sure what happened there and although it didn’t affect me, personally, it was all a bit confusing and annoying.

In the entrance to the event, there was a box full of laundrette bags to use as a shopping basket. Admittedly, it was pretty weird to use them in a place that wasn’t a laundrette, but they didn’t have shopping baskets at the last event so I really appreciated it. The entrance was filled with Line Friends products (so, items that weren’t BT21). There were t-shirts and other clothing items and also a wall to take photos in front of.

I loved the items that they had this time around so I ended up buying a lot more than last time. I bought a ‘Space Squad’ T-shirt, Hoodie, and Photo Frame. I also purchased a Water Bottle, a Mug, some Rock Candy, a ‘Koya’ Funko Pop™, a Fridge Magnet and a Sticker Set. Overall, I ended up spending around £120. The ‘Space Squad’ Hoodie was the most expensive item that I purchased, which was priced at £40. All the other items ranged between £1-20 so I’d say it was pretty affordable.

I didn’t attend the final weekend as I felt that I already purchased everything I wanted and definitely didn’t need to spend any more. There were discounts on the rock candy on the second weekend, I guess because they had a lot of stock that they just needed to get rid of. The candy bags were originally £3 and the jars were £8. I didn’t buy any on the first weekend because I thought that it was way too overpriced. Luckily, on the second weekend, the bags were reduced to £1 and the jars were £5, each. My sister and I bought and ate a few but I still have one that I’ve put on display in my room. If I’m ever locked in my room and starving to death, then I’ll eat it. Until then, it will remain untouched.
