Just to let you know, the thumbnail photo is the only one that I took, myself. The rest, I have permission to use because it was my camera, lol.

On March 25th, I was given the opportunity to head down to Crepe City in Shoreditch, London with the Sneaker Myth Team. It was my first experience of a Crepe City event, which I had seen previously on social media (with hopes of attending one day), and I was not disappointed.

Crepe City was founded in London in 2009. It was the first official event where people who like sneakers and streetwear could meet, mingle and trade in the rarest and most sought-after trainers. Now, it has become Europe's largest pop-up sneaker store event.

I went to the event, alongside some friends who run a business called “Sneaker Myth”. In case you didn't know already, Sneaker Myth is a blog site centred around sneakers and fashion. They provide sneaker-heads with the latest news info, links, stock lists, and sneaker releases to help make the purchasing process less of a MYTH (Ha, get it? Sneaker "MYTH"! No? Ok).

The turn out for the Crepe City event was insane! So many people of different ethnicities, backgrounds and faiths, all brought together in one venue with those who share the same interests: sneakers and streetwear. It genuinely warms my heart to see so many people with so much passion for what they love, and sharing this love with each other.

The event consisted of mountains of tables with footwear and clothing items, from Yeezys to Supreme to Jordans, and much more!

The Sneaker Myth team set up a table at Crepe City, promoting their newly released "SNKRBAG", which can be purchased here.

The event also allowed sneakerheads to channel their inner Picasso and promote their sneaker artwork. These pieces were created by RhysDesigns, and can be purchased here

Although it was an extremely long day, it was an amazing experience that I will never forget, thanks to the Sneaker Myth Team! I will definitely be attending again, next year.

I hope you enjoyed my first blog post. I will be attempting to post on a weekly basis because I have become the laziest person ever and I need to start doing something productive with my life.

Much love,

Jakira x
